Adda and Bob

Kaelen is sad - Adda and Bob have gone home. They were both quite sneaky... they left when the poor boy was sleeping (different days)! Sad...

Now, for anyone who is confused as to who in the world Adda and Bob are... they're his grandparents. Adda is grandpa, and Bob... Bob is grandma (obviously not their real names). I won't explain Adda... that's fairly easy to get. Bob is a bit more of a stretch. One day Grandma took Kaelen's bottle (he was playing rather than eating, or so we thought), and he let her have it. He kept saying "Baaaahhhhhhb, baaaaaaahhhhhb" in a seriously displeased voice and shook his finger at her! Ever since then she's been Bob.

If anyone sees Adda or Bob, let them know Kaelen is on the lookout for them, and if they're not nice, he'll jab his finger up their nose (and he will too... it's not pleasant)!

Birthday palooza

Kaelen's 1st birthday is on Tuesday. We had his party this weekend with Grandma and Grandpa. He had lots of fun playing, and he really likes his new toys!! I'm hoping his toys don't get even bigger as he gets older, otherwise we'll have to buy another house just to fit his toys!!

He has his own patented scoot crawl... unfortunately he's very quick... but at least he's not walking yet! (he managed to push the gate over blocking the kitchen... and then he tried to open the oven... we're in trouble!!)

A musical drum set... gee thanks Grandma...

It lights up too... he loves it

What every boy needs... a dump truck (and pink blocks... they didn't have any "boy colors" and we're progressive!!)

He wasn't exactly thrilled about the cake...

This was really all Grandma wanted to see...

He had a lovely bath after the cake... unfortunately he seemed to touch everything possible prior to getting into the bath... messy messy messy!! Happy Birthday Waelen!!

The best wagon ever

Kaelen had one request for his birthday: a wagon, preferably a plastic two seater with a canopy. Grandma and Grandpa spoiled him yet again! We pulled him around the house, and then Grandpa bundled him up and took him outside. He loved it!! (The tongue action in these pictures is classic...)

Curly, smiley boy

So big

The silly people in Seattle just keep growing and growing. Nandi is nearly seven, Liam turns five in a few days, and Ella is 18 months. Where does the time fly?

Ella

We visited the silly people in Seattle a few weeks ago. I am happy to report that Ella is much more friendly. She smiled, she laughed, she ran up to me, she gave me big hugs, she fell asleep on me, and she gave Kaelen kisses on the mouth!
