It's been a while since I've posted anything... life gets busy! I have a few pictures I should post, and I will someday, but right now I'm waiting for the Portland/Houston NBA game to get over so I can watch the Biggest Loser (I probably should be working out rather than watch other people work out, but I have a good excuse... I'm a gimp! stupid pothole...)
Kaelen is very silly. The past couple of weeks he's been even more of a monkey than usual. He squeaks, jumps up and down, eats bananas (while squeaking and jumping up and down), and hangs upside down (with assistance of course). If he starts growing brown fur, I'm going to be worried! He is absolutely loving eating big kid food... except for green beans... apparently grandpa got to him! He loves turkey lunchmeat (like his momma), saltine crackers (like Bob - aka grandma), bananas (like his dad), and fried mashed potatoes (like adda). Luckily the daycare people are the ones who have to deal with the mess!! Today he got to go to gymnastics class and loved it! (Yes, I can see the irony in having him in "gymnastics" when he can't even walk.... but at least he gets to move around and hang out with his friends!!)
I finally gave in and cut his hair for the third time. He was taking a bath (after a particularly messy dinner) and I decided that while I had him captive, I would start snipping. Apparently I was being too picky, because he started crying towards the end!! Poor baby... I cut it a bit too short in the front and on one side, but it still looks cute!
Kaelen has started sleeping on his stomach with his bum in the air! He's also started protesting when we put him in his crib, and he frequently falls asleep sitting up! At first it made me feel bad, like I was punishing my child or something, but now I think it's funny! He's a character.
We had a short visit to Bob and Adda last weekend... it was beautiful weather. Kaelen had lots of fun and way too much ice cream. I fell in a pothole (stupid pothole) and sprained my ankle.
Alright, it is time to go to bed. Holla at yo' boy (that was for you Bob)
