New and improved bath time fun

There is a truth universally acknowledged: You don't know what you don't need (as a new parent) until after you've bought something and not used it. Back when I was pregnant I purchased an infant tub that I thought was the greatest thing ever; Kaelen loved it too. However, he no longer fits in the infant tub, and unfortunately, the particular tub I purchased doesn't have a place for the Kaelen to sit up. So maybe it wasn't the greatest thing ever. I have now purchased the real greatest thing ever, an infant tub that DOES have a place for Kaelen to sit up! Now I know some of you might be asking why I purchased a tub if he can actually sit up... because I wanted to, that's why! No, I did have some logic to my reasoning. It's easier to clean the infant tub than the real tub! Plus, Kaelen likes to "accidentally" fall over, and this way he really doesn't have room to do that.

Anyhoo... moving on to the interesting part of the story. The pictures don't adequately describe just how much Kaelen loved his new tub. Kennedy took video that better describes it, but I have to edit it, and I'll have to do that later. Basically what happened was SPLASH SPLASH GIGGLE SPLASH SPLASH GIGGLE SPLASH SPLASH HYSTERICAL LAUGHTER SPLASH SPLASH DEEP BREATH IN (him, not me). And on it went for quite some time. I kept taking water out of the tub, but I think it only egg'd him on. So I ended up drenched, more water ended up outside of the real tub than inside of the infant tub, and Kaelen's face got washed very well. But as you can see from the last photo, it was the best bath ever.
