Silly cats

I had a hard time adjusting to being alone when we first got married, since I was away from my family and my husband was always gone (studying for the bar), so I convinced Kennedy that we should get a cat. He picked out Paka - I remind him of this frequently. Within a few days I realized he (paka) was going to be a lot of work. Several months later our vet recommended we get paka a friend, and that's how we came to find Wiki. They've been with us now for two years or so, and I can't imagine life without them. While it would be nice to not have to deal with the fur, the food, the kitty litter, and the constant presence at my feet... I would miss Paka licking my face at 4 in the morning and Wiki stealing my spot on the couch when I get up... I think. Kaelen seems to like them; the feeling may not be mutual once he starts crawling, but for now they put up with him. I'm sure they have no clue what's in store for them, but then, I don't either! So here's to my silly cats!

I love kitties. I wanted one when we first got married, but pets weren't allowed, hence the minor house plant obsession began.
