Look a like?

Apparently I am not meant to be a photographer or a stylist. I've watched enough episodes of America's Next Top Model, so you'd think I'd know all the tricks to styling and actually doing a photo shoot... except I forgot that my model was an infant, and a strong willed infant at that (although maybe that's no different than your average model). So, let's just say that I have scrapped the look a like project. Aidan's hair parts on a different side than Kaelen's did, and Aidan is just bigger than Kaelen was... plus, Aidan's mannerisms are a little different. The real reason I've dropped it is the timing beween Aidan and I is way off... when I'm in a good mood, he's not, and when he's wide awake, I'm ready to fall asleep. Plus most of the time I'm trying to do the styling/take the pictures when I'm the only adult around, and Kaelen, while a very good model himself, is NOT a good assistant. He's quite the camera hog. Plus he gets mad when Aidan punches him (I think it might be on purpose...). So, here are the closest pictures I could find.

The original idea was to take pictures of Aidan wearing outfits that I had taken pictures of Kaelen wearing. The blue hoodie was the first and last intentional photo shoot (for the reasons listed above). Since most of Aidan's clothes are hand-me-downs from Kaelen, we will no doubt have pictures of Aidan wearing the aforementioned clothes... I'm just not going to try to force it anymore (and if you believe that, then I also have a really great product you should buy...)

So, are they look a likes? My conclusion: They are both adorable. Who really cares about the rest!

(The name of this post was originally "Will the real Kaelen the Waelen please stand up", but I figured the intended audience would have NO idea what that was referencing, which is probably for the best. Grandma has only recently begun embracing 21st century music, and Grandpa... yeah, I'm not even going to go there....)
