I finally got up enough courage to let Kaelen undertake an art project. I decided that keeping Kaelen occupied until nap time outweighed the possibility of my dining table getting ruined! (Oddly, I was more concerned about protecting his clothing than the table...) After about thirty seconds I realized I should have bought finger paints rather than watercolor paint... oops! Luckily watercolor is easy to clean, so no harm done. His painting is currently hanging in the place of honor (on our refrigerator), and we are considering it putting it up for auction! Any takers??
